We've got 24 facts straight from the mouths of Kiefer Sutherland (AKA Jack Bauer) and Jon Voight (new villian alert)! They reveal some sizzling scoop and a few not-so-helpful hints about 24: Exile, the upcoming TV-movie special airing in November and season seven premiering in 2009. Here's what the two small-screen co-stars had to say.

P.S. Look for Bonus #25 about Jon's strained relationship with daughter Angelina Jolie. (Who could resist?)

1. “I’ve always also said that the idea of the show is so strong that I think it certainly can live past my involvement. – Kiefer Sutherland hints at a possible end for Jack Bauer.

2. “I think an audience will stick with it [no matter what].” – Kiefer Sutherland

3. “I think I was worried that it would become boring.” – Kiefer Sutherland talks about making 24.

4. “I understand how episodes 1, 2, 3, and 4 impact episodes 9, 10, and 12. There are things I’m looking for in the scripts that I didn’t know to look for when I started.” – Kiefer Sutherland reveals what he has learned throughout his years on 24.

5. “One of the reasons I think our show has been successful is that the writers write, the actors act, the directors direct, the cinematographer lights.” - Kiefer Sutherland

6. “Everybody has been hired as a part of our show because we trust them.” - Kiefer Sutherland

7.
“You’re working with people that know what they’re doing. It’s going be good work.” – Jon Voight

8. “I hate to tell. I hate to let anything out. Obviously this guy is the villain. He’s a very serious villain. He’s a very bad fella.” – Jon Voight

9. “I’m setting my patterns. So they’re writing as we go too." – Jon Voight

10. If I [try to add] a little humor in the character or something bizarre that I put in and it works, [the writers and directors will] play to that – they’re adjusting to my work.” – Jon Voight

11. “The show has always been one of my favorites on television." – Jon Voight

12. I knew that the people were good. The quality of the piece was very good.” – Jon Voight

13. “To create a character from the beginning to the end like this is a lot of fun." – Jon Voight

14. I like this long-form kind of connection to an audience. So we’ll see how it plays.” – Jon Voight

15. “When people come towards you with energy and they’re very talented people you listen to them, and you’re very humbly grateful for it too." – Jon Voight

16.
[I was like] “‘Oh, how nice they want me to be a part of this!’” – Jon Voight

17.
“I’m a fella who comes to wok, and I’m prepared and stuff. And that’s basically all it is. You have to be prepared to work. You can’t come and learn your lines on the spot and you can’t play around too much.” – Jon Voight

18.
“When you’re rehearsing with our directors – and the two I’ve worked with so far know how to make this show work – I’m learning from them: their pace, their knowledge. It becomes something I go to school on it.” – Jon Voight

19. “I’m not a shy guy. I’ve never been that way.” – Jon Voight

20. “But I know that the pace is going to be expected. I know in rehearsal if I want to do something I say ‘Let me try this. What about this? Well, what if he’s eating something?’ I bring it in with me and that’s fun. – Jon Voight

21. “Well, character work usually means that you’re not going to be carrying the storyline. So you’re going to be used for a very specific effect. So when you come on, you’ve got to give them something that’s dynamic to tell the story.” – Jon Voight

22. “There’s an expectation when you’re playing a leading man that you can kind of take your time and go through scenes and feed off scenes." – Jon Voight

23. “When you’re a character actor, you’re going to bring it on.” – Jon Voight

24.
“Supporting actors usually paint extraordinary performances because they have to. You’re expected to do a certain thing.” – Jon Voight

**Bonus 25 ** “If I’m asked I’ll find a way for sure. But I haven’t been asked. – Jon Voight responds to the question “Will you be flying to France to see your new grandchildren?” – Jon Voight (Yikes.)
